Roady Terms & Conditions

Welcome to Roady. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Roady mobile application, website, software, products, and services (collectively, the “Services”).
By downloading, accessing, creating an account, or using Roady, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Services.

1. About Roady

Roady is an on-demand micromobility service platform designed to support bicycles, electric bicycles (e-bikes), electric scooters, personal mobility devices, and future supported vehicle categories.
Roady enables users to request roadside assistance, maintenance, repairs, diagnostics, assembly, inspections, transportation-related services, and other vehicle support services from independent service providers.
Roady may expand its Services over time to include vehicle records, maintenance tracking, warranty management, service history, valuation tools, marketplace services, fleet management tools, and additional mobility-related offerings.

2. Eligibility

To use the Services, you must:

  • Be at least 18 years old.
  • Have the legal authority to enter into a binding agreement.
  • Provide accurate account information.
  • Comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

By using Roady, you represent and warrant that you meet these requirements.

Users may request services including but not limited to:

  • Flat tire repair
  • Tire replacement
  • Brake adjustment and repair
  •  

Service availability depends on provider availability, geographic coverage, weather, traffic conditions, safety considerations, and operational capacity.

Roady does not guarantee service availability at any specific time or location.

3. User Accounts

You may be required to create an account to access certain features.

You agree to:

  • Provide accurate information.
  • Maintain current account details.
  • Keep login credentials confidential.
  • Accept responsibility for all activity under your account.
  • Immediately notify Roady of unauthorized access or security concerns.

Roady reserves the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Service Requests

Users may request services including but not limited to:

  • Flat tire repair
  • Tire replacement
  • Brake adjustment and repair
  • Battery diagnostics
  • Electrical troubleshooting
  • Power system diagnostics
  • Assembly services
  • Tune-ups
  • Safety inspections
  • General maintenance
  • Emergency roadside assistance
  • Other available services displayed within the platform

Service availability depends on provider availability, geographic coverage, weather, traffic conditions, safety considerations, and operational capacity.

Roady does not guarantee service availability at any specific time or location.

5. Independent Service Providers

Service providers using Roady are independent contractors or independent businesses.

Roady does not:

  • Employ providers unless specifically stated.
  • Control how providers perform services.
  • Supervise provider work.
  • Guarantee provider performance.
  • Guarantee certifications beyond information voluntarily submitted by providers.

Users acknowledge that services are performed by independent parties and not by Roady itself.

6. Pricing and Payments

Charges may include:

  • Service fees
  • Labor fees
  • Diagnostic fees
  • Parts costs
  • Travel fees
  • Emergency service fees
  • Taxes
  • Government-imposed fees

Pricing displayed in the application may be estimated until the service provider confirms the final scope of work. Users authorize Roady and its payment processors to charge the selected payment method. Failure to pay may result in account suspension..

7. Subscriptions and Membership Plans

Roady may offer subscription plans, memberships, maintenance plans, roadside assistance plans, or premium services.
Subscription terms may include:

  • Monthly billing
  • Annual billing
  • Automatic renewal
  • Membership benefits
  • Discounted service pricing
  • Priority scheduling

Unless otherwise required by law, subscriptions automatically renew until canceled. Users may manage subscriptions through their account settings or applicable app marketplace. Subscription fees are generally non-refundable unless required by law.

8. Cancellations and Refunds

Cancellation fees may apply when:

  • A provider has been dispatched.
  • A provider is en route.
  • The provider arrives at the service location.
  • The customer is unavailable.

Refund requests are reviewed individually.
Roady reserves the right to determine refund eligibility consistent with applicable law.

9. Vehicle Information

Users are responsible for providing accurate information regarding:

  • Vehicle type
  • Manufacturer
  • Model
  • Vehicle condition
  • Vehicle location
  • Service requirements

Inaccurate information may result in delays, additional charges, or inability to complete service.

10. Safety Responsibilities

Users agree to:

  • Operate vehicles safely.
  • Follow manufacturer recommendations.
  • Follow all applicable laws and regulations.
  • Refrain from operating vehicles that are unsafe or damaged.

Users are solely responsible for determining whether a vehicle is safe to operate following a repair, inspection, or service. Roady does not guarantee the future safety, performance, or reliability of any vehicle.

11. Micromobility Vehicle Disclaimer

Roady primarily supports bicycles, electric bicycles, scooters, and other personal mobility devices. Users acknowledge that:
  • Mechanical failures may occur unexpectedly.
  • Battery failures may occur unexpectedly.
  • Vehicle performance may vary.
  • Road conditions can impact vehicle safety.
  • Regular maintenance is required.
Roady shall not be responsible for accidents, injuries, losses, damages, or claims arising from vehicle operation before, during, or after service.

12. Future Vehicle Categories

Roady may expand support to include:

  • Delivery robots
  • Autonomous mobility devices
  • Light electric vehicles
  • Additional transportation equipment

These Terms shall apply to future supported vehicle categories unless separate terms are provided.

13. Location Services

Certain Services require access to location data.
By using Roady, you authorize Roady to collect and use location information to:

  • Dispatch providers
  • Improve service accuracy
  • Track service status
  • Improve user experience

Disabling location services may limit functionality.

14. Communications

You consent to receive:

  • Appointment notifications
  • Service updates
  • Transaction confirmations
  • Customer support communications
  • Safety notices
  • Platform announcements

You may opt out of marketing communications where permitted by law.

15. Ratings, Reviews, and User Feedback

Users may submit ratings, reviews, comments, suggestions, photographs, and feedback.

You grant Roady a worldwide, perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display submitted content for business and operational purposes.

Roady may remove content at its sole discretion.

16. User Generated Content

Users may upload:

  • Photos
  • Vehicle information
  • Service notes
  • Reviews
  • Messages
  • Other content

Users represent that they own or have the necessary rights to submit such content.

Users may not upload content that:

  • Violates laws
  • Infringes intellectual property rights
  • Contains malicious software
  • Is abusive, defamatory, or fraudulent

Roady may remove content without notice.

17. Intellectual Property

All Roady content, branding, trademarks, software, graphics, designs, and platform features remain the exclusive property of Roady and its licensors.

No ownership rights are transferred to users.

18. Third-Party Services

Roady may rely on third-party providers including:

  • Payment processors
  • Mapping services
  • Communication providers
  • Analytics platforms
  • Cloud service providers

Roady is not responsible for third-party services or their availability.

19. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROADY DISCLAIMS ALL WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF:

  • MERCHANTABILITY
  • FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE
  • NON-INFRINGEMENT
  • ACCURACY
  • AVAILABILITY
  • RELIABILITY

ROADY DOES NOT GUARANTEE UNINTERRUPTED OR ERROR-FREE OPERATION.

20. Limitation of Liability

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE.”

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ROADY SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

  • INDIRECT DAMAGES
  • INCIDENTAL DAMAGES
  • CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES
  • LOST PROFITS
  • LOST DATA
  • PROPERTY DAMAGE
  • VEHICLE DAMAGE
  • PERSONAL INJURY
  • DEATH
  • PROVIDER ACTIONS OR OMISSIONS

ROADY’S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT PAID BY THE USER TO ROADY DURING THE SIX (6) MONTHS PRECEDING THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

21. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Roady, its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, contractors, and agents from any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Services.
  • Your violation of these Terms.
  • Your violation of applicable laws.

Disputes with providers or other users.

22. Account Suspension and Termination

Roady may suspend or terminate accounts for:

  • Fraudulent activity
  • Abuse of the platform
  • Safety concerns
  • Violation of these Terms
  • Legal compliance requirements

Users may request account deletion at any time by contacting Roady.

Roady may retain certain information as required by law, regulatory requirements, fraud prevention obligations, and legitimate business purposes.

23. Account Deletion

Users may request deletion of their account and personal information by contacting: support@roady.world

Certain information may be retained when required by:

  • Law
  • Tax regulations
  • Payment processing obligations
  • Fraud prevention requirements
  • Safety investigations
  • Dispute resolution requirements

24. Changes to These Terms

Roady may update these Terms periodically.
Material changes may be communicated through:

  • Email
  • Website notices
  • Push notifications

Continued use of the Services constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.

25. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

26. Dispute Resolution

Users agree to first attempt to resolve disputes informally by contacting Roady.

If informal resolution is unsuccessful, disputes shall be resolved through the courts located in the District of Columbia unless otherwise required by law.

28. Apple App Store and Google Play Store Provisions

If you download Roady through the Apple App Store or Google Play Store:

  • These Terms are between you and Roady only.
  • Apple and Google are not parties to these Terms.
  • Apple and Google are not responsible for maintenance or support.
  • Roady is responsible for addressing application-related claims.
  • Users must comply with applicable App Store and Play Store rules.

Apple and Google are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce applicable provisions.

29. Entire Agreement

These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Roady concerning the Services and supersede all prior agreements, communications, and understandings regarding the Services.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
